Before Wiz AI can be installed, your Odoo system must meet the following requirements. If you are unsure about any of them, check with your system administrator or hosting provider before proceeding.

Odoo version and edition

• Odoo 18 is required. No minimum Odoo 18 release is required.
• Enterprise edition is required. Enterprise is needed because the Documents app — which Wiz AI uses for knowledge base storage — is Enterprise-only. Wiz AI will not install on Community edition.

Hosting

• Odoo.sh or self-hosted. Either works.
• Not Odoo Online. Odoo Online does not allow custom modules to be installed. Wiz AI requires custom modules and therefore cannot run on Odoo Online.

Network

• Outbound HTTPS from the Odoo server to Wiz Asia. If your server is behind a firewall or proxy, ensure it can reach the Wiz Asia service endpoint. The connection is tested under Install and connect.
• Inbound HTTPS from Wiz Asia to your Odoo's web address. Wiz Asia delivers answers and usage records, and the agent reads your records, over this connection, so that address must be reachable by Wiz Asia, not only from inside your own network.

• AI-powered WhatsApp for Odoo — optional, only if you use the AI on WhatsApp. It needs Odoo's WhatsApp, Sales and eCommerce apps, and a WhatsApp Business account connected in Odoo.

Optional, from a third party:

• Dashboard Ninja, a separate app from Ksolves. Not needed to install or use Wiz AI. If you also run it, a ready-made usage dashboard, the Token Dashboard, is added that makes your AI usage easier to understand. Added it later? Use Configuration → Add Token Dashboard.

ℹ Installing Wiz AI Client Agent also installs the Chatbot Connector, Live Chat Enterprise, Agent Documents and Agent Setup & Onboarding, along with Odoo's Documents, Live Chat and Website apps if they are not installed yet. Install Wiz Odoo Helper, and the WhatsApp module if you use the AI on WhatsApp, from Apps. If any module is missing after setup, contact help@wiz.asia.
