What Wiz AI is
Wiz AI gives your Odoo system two separate tools that use artificial intelligence. They have different jobs, live in different apps, and serve different people — but they share a single billing wallet. This page explains what each one does, how they differ, and why the shared wallet matters.
The AI Agent
The AI Agent answers questions from your business data — for your staff inside Odoo (in Discuss), and for your customers on WhatsApp and your website's Live Chat. When someone sends a question, the agent reads the documents and business data you have given it, composes a reply, and sends it back — without waiting for a human.
Typical uses:
- A customer asks about pricing, opening hours, or return policies on WhatsApp.
- A website visitor uses Live Chat to check whether an item is in stock.
- A portal user asks about the status of their order.
The agent only knows what you give it. It reads the Odoo records its Access Rights allow (and, when it is serving a signed-in member of staff, anything that person can already see), the documents you give it and, if you allow it, specific folders. It is instructed to answer from the documents you have given it. The page What the agent may read explains the document-access rules in detail.
The Odoo Helper
The Odoo Helper answers your own staff. It is its own screen in Odoo (Wiz Odoo Helper → Home). If someone is unsure how to create a purchase order, apply a discount, or configure a tax, they can ask the Helper, sharing the tab they are working in if they like, and it will walk them through the steps.
Typical uses:
- A new employee needs to generate a pro-forma invoice for the first time.
- A warehouse user wants to know how to set up a barcode scanner.
- An accountant asks how to reconcile a bank statement entry.
The Helper is not the same as the Agent. It does not talk to your customers. It does not appear on WhatsApp or Live Chat. It only appears inside Odoo, and only your logged-in staff can see it.
One Wallet, Two Apps
Both the AI Agent and the Odoo Helper draw from the same wallet — the same token pool, the same pricing tier, the same balance. When either one answers a question, it uses tokens from that shared pool.
This means you do not pay separately for each app. What you buy is usage capacity, and it is consumed regardless of which tool uses it.
The wallet balance and spending history appear in two places:
- AI Agent Client → Usage & Billing — the complete picture. It shows all spending across both the Agent and the Helper. Helper usage appears as its own channel: "AI Studio" in the Messages list and "AI Helper Tokens" on the Token Dashboard.
- Wiz Odoo Helper → Administration → Usage & Billing — Helper spending only, broken down by individual request. This is a filtered view of the same wallet, not a second bill.
ℹ If you are checking how much you have left, use the Agent's Usage & Billing screen — it is the only one that shows the full balance.
