Reviewing Conversations

1. What is this screen for?
The Conversation Review screen shows read-only transcripts of every conversation between your staff and the Wiz Odoo Helper, so you can see what people are asking and where the Helper gets stuck.
2. Who uses it?
Administrators at your organization.
3. What do you actually do here?
The list view shows one row per conversation with three columns:
Conversation Title — the user's first question, shortened to 60 characters, unless they renamed it.
User — who had the conversation.
Last Activity — when the conversation was last opened or renamed, so opening an old conversation moves it back to the top. The list is sorted by this column by default (most recent first).
Use the search bar to find conversations by title.
Click any row to open the full transcript:
Transcript Detail View
The detail view shows:
User — the staff member (linked to their Odoo profile).
Started — when the conversation began.
Last Activity — when the conversation was last opened or renamed.
Below these, the Conversation Transcript table shows every exchange in order:
User Request — what the user asked.
Helper Response — what the Helper answered.
Time — when that specific exchange happened.
This screen is for review and support only. You cannot edit conversations here; an Odoo Settings administrator can delete any conversation, which cannot be undone.
4. What do you do when it looks wrong or empty?
List is empty: No one has used the Helper yet. This is normal for a fresh installation — conversations will appear once staff start chatting with the Helper.
A conversation shows the Helper couldn't answer: This is expected when the Helper has no matching document for the question. Check the Unanswered Questions screen (Administration → Unanswered Questions) — the question may already be logged there, ready for you to act on.
You want to find what users keep getting stuck on: The search bar here only matches titles. To search what people actually asked, use Administration → Usage & Billing and search the questions. The patterns tell you which topics need better documentation or training.
Transcripts are missing or stop at a certain date: Check how long transcripts are kept under Administration → Configuration. The Conversation retention (days) setting controls when older conversations are archived. Default is 90 days. Archived conversations are kept, not deleted, and an Odoo administrator can restore them. A conversation its user deleted from the Helper is gone for good.
